Moon Globe by Planetenkugel Manufaktur

A handcrafted mars globe created by Michael Plichta of Planetenkugel Manufaktur.

Some of you may remember our feature of Planetenkugel Manufaktur’s mars globe back in 2016. Today it’s my pleasure to show you Michael Plichta’s latest creation, a hyper-realistic moon globe. The moon relief is based on latest NASA data. Made of stable artificial plaster, mounted on a noble classic wooden base, the globe is showing all details in a resolution of about 6.2 miles. Just check out the following video. Below you can find some images of the manufacturing process and the final result. Opinion: What I Would Like to See in the Fujifilm X-T3

It is being reported that Fujifilm plans to launch their upcoming X-T3 at some point in the coming year, and in the new update, we will get Fujifilm’s new 26MP X-Trans IV sensor. It is a modest improvement over the 24MP X-Trans III sensor, but the sensor hasn’t ever really been Fujifilm’s weakness. Along with the reports of a new sensor, the X-T3 is said to have a true touchscreen along with ‚better battery performance‘; and if this is true, it would be a welcome sign that Fujifilm will be fixing their battery problem.
